NOTICE OF POLL
CONSTITUENCY OF WEXFORD
Take Notice that, pursuant to a writ issued to me by the Clerk of Dáil Éireann, I will take a poll on Friday, 29th November 2019, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. to elect 1 member of the Dáil for this constituency.
The names and descriptions of the candidates standing nominated and of their proposers (if any), and the order in which they will appear on the ballot paper, are set out hereunder.

Voters with impaired vision - 2019
For voters with impaired vision there will be a ballot paper template available for use in each polling station. Details of the candidates corresponding to each position on the template will be available on a freephone number which will be published here once it is operational. The text of the freephone message is as follows.
If you are a vision impaired voter wishing to vote in secret, ask the Presiding Officer at your polling station to attach a ballot paper template to your ballot paper. Raised numbering and braille on the template guides you to the relevant openings that correspond to the candidates on the ballot paper.

Information for Candidates
Prospective candidates for the Dáil Bye Elections due to be held on November 29th 2019 may use the forms available for download below to register their candidacy. Candidates should contact the office of the Returning Officer to make an appointment to register their nomination. All candidates will require a completed Nomination form and Agent Forms. Candidates running under the banner of a registered political party should get a certificate of political affiliation signed by the designated party officials. Non-party candidates must lodge a deposit of €500 with the returning officer or submit a completed Form of Statutory Declaration by Assentors. Assentors should use the same name on that form as the name that appears on the electoral register to ensure that the form can be processed correctly.

Notice of Dáil Election
Mr. Eoghan Murphy, T.D., Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government has made an order appointing Friday 29th November 2019 as the Polling day for bye-elections in Cork North-Central, Dublin Fingal, Dublin Mid-West and Wexford. Polling will take place between the hours of 7.00am and 10.00pm on that day.

Applications for Work
We are now accepting applications for work on the Bye-Election which is due to be held on 29th November, 2019. You can apply by clicking on "Apply for Work" in the menu at the left hand side of this web page.
We will ONLY accept applications made through this website so please do not phone or write to us looking for work.
Persons campaigning for any candidate in the election are NOT ELIGIBLE to work for us on this election.
